Welcome to Sanctus Gym, a performance training facility in St Helens built around one philosophy:

Sanctus is designed for people who want more from their training. We bring together multiple training disciplines under one roof, including CrossFit, HYROX conditioning, Strongman, Olympic weightlifting and functional training, creating an environment where members can build real strength, improve fitness and develop long-term athletic ability.
Our approach combines coach-led classes with open gym access, giving members structured training alongside the freedom to train independently. Supporting sessions such as kettlebells and yoga help improve mobility, conditioning and recovery.
At Sanctus we believe that great coaching creates great athletes. Our sessions are led by experienced coaches who focus on movement quality, progressive training and helping members improve safely and consistently.
More than just a gym, Sanctus is a community built around training hard and supporting each other. We regularly host competitions, training challenges and community events that bring members together and make training both rewarding and enjoyable.
Whether your goal is to build strength, improve conditioning, compete in HYROX or simply train in a serious performance environment, Sanctus provides the coaching, facility and community to help you get there.

Alongside competitive athletes, Sanctus supports members of all abilities who want to become stronger, fitter and more capable through consistent training.
Our Facility
Sanctus Gym provides a purpose-built training environment designed for strength, conditioning and performance training.
Members have access to:

• Strongman implements including sleds and carries
• HYROX-style conditioning equipment
• Open gym training space
• On-site sports physiotherapy
ReFuel Café & HALO Studio
Sanctus is also home to ReFuel Café, providing post-training nutrition, coffee and refreshments for members and visitors.
Alongside the main gym floor is HALO Studio, a dedicated space for specialist sessions including yoga, kettlebells and small group training. HALO Studio allows members to focus on mobility, recovery and functional strength in a more focused training environment.
Together, these spaces create a training facility designed to support performance, recovery and community under one roof.
